RENATO LOPENA JR

Renato Lopena Jr. discovered his passion for perfumery early on and pursued formal training at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France, where he gained invaluable knowledge and skills. Along the way, he earned certifications as an Aromatherapist, Olfaction Trainer, and Perfumotherapist, further enriching his understanding of the art and science of scent.

His career began with Linger for Whiff, a project that allowed him to explore his creativity and refine his craft. In 2020, Renato established his own brand, Wren Atelier, to share his personal vision for fragrances. His debut creation, Hacienderos, was inspired by Filipino heritage and his love for storytelling through scent. Since then, he has had the privilege of collaborating with respected designers and brands, including Francis Libiran, Neil Felipp, Édro, and Noah Solutions.

As the first Filipino member of the International Society of Perfumer-Creators and a pledger to the Perfumery Code of Ethics, Renato is deeply committed to upholding the integrity of the craft while representing Filipino talent on the global stage. He views each fragrance as an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with others through the power of scent.
